DRIVER

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Applicants must hold a relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in one of the following fields:

  • Public Administration, Public or Financial Management, or Financial Administration

At least four (4) years of total work experience is required, comprising:

  • Senior Certificate (Matric) is required.
  • At least three years of relevant experience as a professional driver.
  • Completion of an advanced driving course would be a beneficial addition.
  • Must hold a valid driving license.
  • Familiarity with routes and major cities where official duties may be carried out.
     

Skills and Competencies Needed:

  • Ability to safely operate both light and medium vehicles. 
  • Understanding of procedures for securing official travel authorizations and maintaining travel logs.
  • Competence in handling minor maintenance issues such as flat tires and vehicle checks.
